Early morning wake up call

Muddy paw prints on the floor...,
Endless mopping, but still there's more!
Windows covered in slobber and snot.
I cleaned them yesterday! I kid you not!
Rainy weather...Let's stay in!
Not a chance! They always win!
Head to toe I'm covered in fluff!
Trying to look smart, but always a scruff!
Pleading eyes and dribbling chops...
When I'm eating a meal...It never stops!
But the endless love and bond we share
The fact that they are always there
To share my sad and happy days
Makes up for this, in many ways!
They never judge or make me blue...
They brighten my days....
